Order Settings
TapMango's ordering solution provides additional settings to customize your ordering options. These options are available for you to adjust yourself and can be toggled off or on at anytime.
Where do I go to Manage my Settings?
To adjust the settings for your ordering you'll need to navigate to the location group you wish to change the settings for.
- On portal.tapmango.com select Orders > Catalog, or Online Ordering > Catalog
- Select the location group that has the location you'd like to make the adjustments
- Open the Locations tab, then the location you want to adjust
- Select Save at the bottom of the page when you are done
Tax
The tax rate setting is the percentage of tax that the customer will be charged on the order. If the rate is above 0, a tax name is required.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | The name that appears on the customer's receipt for the tax. |
| Tax Rate | The percentage of tax the customer is charged. |
If Push order to POS is turned on, the note on this screen says the tax rate set up in your POS is used. On some POS setups the Tax and Fees sections are not shown, because the POS handles those charges.
Ordering Options
TapMango offers various ordering options which your customers can take advantage of. Once Delivery (Taxable) is enabled, choose Self Delivery or Third-party Delivery.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Order Ahead | Customers can schedule an order, including days in advance. These settings apply to menus you manage in TapMango. |
| Curb Side Pick Up | The customer chooses Curbside, enters a car description, and can tap I'm here when they arrive. |
| Disable In-store Pick Up | When enabled, customers cannot order for in-store pickup. Use this to direct them to curb side or delivery. |
| Disable ASAP Orders | Customers cannot order for right now. They have to pick a later time. Turn on Order Ahead as well, or the page will not save. |
| Delivery (Taxable) | Turns delivery on. Then choose Self Delivery or Third-party Delivery. |
When Order Ahead is turned on, set these fields:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Max Days | How many days ahead a customer can order. |
| Interval in Minutes | 5, 10, 15, or 30. |
| Min. Advance Time | How far ahead an order must be placed, in hours or days. This field is shown on Online Ordering V3. |
Delivery
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Minimum Order Total for Delivery | The cart must reach this amount before a customer can place a delivery order. A value of 0 turns the minimum off. Shown for Self Delivery and Third-party Delivery. |
| Minimum Order Total for Free Delivery | When the cart reaches this amount, the delivery fee can be waived. This does not block smaller orders. A value of 0 turns it off. |
| Minimum Order Total for Pickup | On Online Ordering V3, the minimum for in-store pickup and curbside. A value of 0 turns it off. |
| Self Delivery: Add Delivery ZONE | How far a customer can be, and the fee for that distance. Add at least one zone. |
| Third-party Delivery | A delivery partner handles the delivery. Contact TapMango to connect DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct. Then choose the partner, and set how much of the delivery fee your store pays. |
For third-party delivery, Percentage of Delivery Fee charged to Merchant is your store's share of the fee. Maximum Fee charged to Merchant is an optional cap, and it appears when that percentage is above 0.
Tips
The Tip option lets you set four default percentages. Customers see those as choices at checkout, and they can also enter a custom tip amount.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tip | Turn tipping on or off, and set the four default percentages. |
| Default to No Tip | Checkout starts on No Tip. Customers can still choose a tip. |
You can adjust the default percentages or uncheck Tip to turn tipping off. If you choose Third-party Delivery, tipping stays on. The percentages are set to 10, 15, 20, and 25, and they cannot be changed while third-party delivery is selected.

Different Fee Types
Basic Rules
- Fees are location based and must be set for each location
- You can have one Processing Fee and one Service Fee per location. You cannot add a second fee of the same type.
- You can add more than one Per Item Fee. Each one applies to the categories or items you select.
Types of Fees
Processing Fee and Service Fee are names for the charge. They do not change how it is calculated. Calculation Type does: Amount is a flat fee, and Percentage is a percent of the sale. Per Item Fee limits the charge to the categories or items you select. Select Fee Order Type limits which orders the fee applies to.
| Fee type | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Processing Fee | An order processing fee, typically used to cover the cost of credit card or payment processing. |
| Service Fee | A handling charge. For example, extra staff work for a more complicated pickup. |
| Per Item Fee | A fee on selected categories or items. |
