This article pertains to merchants using the branded mobile app.
What problem is this?
This is a specific problem that will only impact iPhone's. It's due to a bug with how iOS web browser works when loading pages through something called an iframe - the method we use to load your custom web page inside your branded TapMango application.
Some types of scrolling banners will trigger this - while scrolling down on the page it will jump up to the top.
Of course this can be frustrating, so we have a fix.
What do I need to do?
It's really simple! Just contact your web developer, or if you handle this yourself just add the following piece of CSS to your the web page's style sheet. This shouldn't have any impact on your site's layout.
html, body{
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
overflow: auto;
-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;
}
Why do I need to do this?
This is a bug specific with how iPhones handle iframes - unfortunately because an iframe is designed to load the web page inside a web page, we cannot alter any of the content on that web page ourself. The only known solution to this bug is to modify the page being loaded.
