Actions
Actions are what happens once a Trigger’s rules have been met. Examples include “Assign Voucher”, “Send SMS“, “Assign Points” and many others. In essence, TapMango asks a question, it asks: When X happens, what should I do? The Trigger is the X, while the what is the Action. |

Campaign
Campaigns are what we use at TapMango to describe the actions we complete in order to automate the behind the scenes processes on your account. For example, a campaign could be to send a customer a voucher, or it could be to move a customer to a group. |

Check-In
When a customer scans their key tag on your TapMango tablet, they are effectively signing into their account. We call this action “checking in”. You can create campaigns due to this action so that customers receive points, vouchers, or messages when they do this. Customers can also check in on your TapMango Tablet by selecting the Check-In button on the customer view. |
Customer View
When using your TapMango tablet, you can flip the tablet to switch between the customer view and the merchant view. The Customer View will display your logo, include information about how many points your customers receive for signing up, have a check-in with phone # button, and include an area which displays what your camera sees. This is the view that should face customers when they walk up to make a purchase. |
Gift Tags/ Gift Cards
The key chain tags that you receive can be used as a way for customers to check in to their account. They can also be loaded with vouchers, points, or wallet dollars to be given away as promotional items or sold as gift cards. |
Instant Win
Instant Win is a feature which enables customers to win prizes that you create. You have full control over the prize(s) available to customers, and the odds of winning each prize. You can provide customers with vouchers as a prize or points. Some examples might include a free small product, discount on a service, or extra points added to their account. |
Merchant View
When using your TapMango tablet, you can flip the tablet to switch between the customer view and the merchant view. The Merchant View will display many buttons including the option to redeem (you can redeem vouchers and rewards). There will also be a number pad on the right hand side. Typically, you will enter how much money a customer spent on this number pad and hit go to save the sale information to TapMango. By doing this the checked-in customer’s account will update based on your rules regarding purchases and points per dollar spent. |
Products
You can add Products to your loyalty program so that when purchased, customers can receive bonus points. You can also create campaigns so that when customers purchase a product, different actions occur. |
Points
We recommend you provide points to customers when they spend money at your store. You can also create campaigns to provide extra points to your customers. Points can be redeemed to receive rewards (which you also have the ability to create and modify). |
Quick Campaign
Quick Campaigns are messages you can quickly and easily send to your customers. They are different than typical form purely by how they are set up. Quick Campaigns has a dedicated button and step by step walkthrough of your Campaign details. Whereas when you create a full fledged campaign, you manually select the actions and triggers. |
Rewards
Rewards are what you can provide your customers who earn points. Once a customer has collected the set amount of points, they can redeem them for whatever reward you have created. For example, after a customer has earned 100 points, you can give them a free product or discount. |
Special Tags (SMS or Email Tags)
Special Tags can be created to automatically fill in information within a message. For example, the Customer Nametag is [[NAME]]. This tag automatically fills in the Customer’s Name within the message that you are sending. To add a Special Tag, within a push notification or SMS, select the blue Insert Tag button and select your tag. To do this in an email, select the More button, select the |

Triggers
Triggers are the rules that start a campaign. Examples include “On a Specific Date“, “When Customer Checks In N times“, “When Customer Purchases ‘X’ N times“, and many others.. In essence, TapMango asks a question, it asks: When X happens, what should I do? The Trigger is the X, while the what is the Action. |

Vouchers
At TapMango, we use the word voucher as a synonymous word with coupon or discount that you can provide to your customers. By naming the voucher, you can provide a customer virtually anything you would like. If you would like to give a customer a discount on a product, create a voucher called 25% off product A. Whereas if you would like to give your customers a free service, create a voucher called Free Service B. |
Wallet Dollars
You can load credit onto a customer’s account using wallet dollars. This is the term we use when referring to money on a customer’s account, or money loaded onto a gift tag. If you would like to add this functionality to your account, give TapMango or your Account Manager a call or email! We can be reached at 1-855-208-0020 or support@tapmango.com. |
icon, and choose the Special Tag you would like to include.
