Manage your TapMango online ordering menu in Toast so changes there sync to your TapMango catalog.
Key Benefits
Efficiency. You update the menu in Toast instead of maintaining the same menu in Toast and TapMango.
Accuracy. Online and in-store menus stay in sync, which reduces customer confusion and ordering mistakes.
Real-time updates. Menu updates made in Toast are reflected in your TapMango catalog.
Daily Use Cases
Automatic menu sync covers these everyday Toast tasks:
- After you add a new item to your Toast menu, the item appears on the TapMango online ordering menu.
- After you update the price of an existing item in Toast, the price updates on the TapMango online ordering menu.
- After you remove a menu item in Toast, the item is removed from the TapMango online ordering menu.
Setup Process
These steps are for existing TapMango merchants who already have a Toast integration. Setting up your Toast Integration covers that connection. If you are new, your Feature Implementation Specialist sets this up during account onboarding.
Use a separate location group for each location. Sharing one location group across integrations causes sync problems.
1. Notify TapMango Support
Existing Toast integration users must contact TapMango Support or their Account Manager first so the required integration settings can be adjusted.
2. Create Your POS-Managed Menu
A new POS-managed menu must be created for your account.
TapMango Support or your Feature Implementation Specialist can do this. Allow a few business days. When it goes live, your previous TapMango menus are disabled so the changeover stays clean.
If you set up the POS-managed menu yourself:
If the POS-managed catalog does not look right after you submit or refresh, for example the catalog name is missing, return to All Catalogs and refresh that page.
Troubleshooting
How to Manage your Menu Visibility Settings is Toast's guide. Setting Up Toast Visibility For Online Ordering covers the TapMango side.
