Driver Accounts

A driver account is a TapMango login for your own drivers. They sign in, see the store's delivery orders, and mark them delivered.

Create a driver account

A Merchant Admin or a Manager creates the login.

See How do I edit or add additional Users? for the user form.

With only that role, the driver uses the sign-in below. The merchant portal responds that they do not have sufficient permissions.

How a driver signs in

The list is for the location of the tablet they selected. A driver covering another store signs in again and selects that store's tablet.

What the driver sees

Active Deliveries shows the customer name, delivery address, pickup info, order number, and total.

The driver can call the customer, open directions in Google Maps, and confirm Delivery Complete. Confirming that marks the order delivered. Staff can do the same from the order with Mark as Delivered.

On a store tablet, the phone link and the directions link are hidden. The complete checkmark stays.

Every driver signed in for that location sees every order the store has marked Out for Delivery.

How an order shows up for drivers

Staff update the order:

The order appears on Active Deliveries after it is marked Out for Delivery.

DoorDash and Uber orders

An order that DoorDash or Uber is delivering can appear on Active Deliveries with that partner's logo. The driver cannot open it or mark it complete. The partner completes those orders.
