Update the TapMango tablet app, or install it when TapMango is not already on the tablet.
If your tablet doesn't have TapMango preinstalled, start at Downloading and Installing the TapMango App.
Before You Begin, Note Down Your Tablet Device Key
If your in-store POS is integrated with TapMango, or you have two tablets paired together, note the device key before you update. After you install TapMango Tablet App (3.0.8), compare it with the key you noted. If the key changed, Support remaps the tablet.
You can find the current device key from the merchant-facing side of the tablet: Other > Device Info.
How To Exit the TapMango App
If the app is not responsive, press and hold the power button to restart the tablet. Do not reopen the TapMango app once it restarts.
Downloading and Installing the TapMango App
If you miss the download notification, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Android Quick Settings notification panel. The TapMango file appears there. Tap it to install.
If a pop-up says "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source":
If TapMango is integrated with your in-store POS, sign in from admin mode and go to Other > Device Info. Compare the device key with the one you noted. It should be the same. If it changed, note the first 4 characters of the new key and contact TapMango Support to remap the tablet and complete a test transaction.
