Happy Hours raises the points customers earn during the hours you choose. Set the multiplier to 2× for a double-points window, or choose a higher multiplier. A 2× Happy Hour means customers earn twice their normal points rate while it is active.
Online means TapMango mobile ordering. Other website or connected-store sales count as In-store, so an In-store-only Happy Hour still applies to those orders.
Before you start
✓Loyalty is turned on for your account.
✓You can open Loyalty in the portal.
✓You know which locations, customer groups, and hours should earn the extra points.
What a Happy Hour does
A Happy Hour does not replace rewards or vouchers. It multiplies the points a qualifying purchase would already earn.
Leave customer groups or locations empty to include everyone and every location. Both In-store and Online start selected. Turn one off when the boost should apply to only one channel.
The multiplier sits on top of the normal points rate for that purchase, including a customer-group or location rate when one applies. A 2× Happy Hour on a 1-point-per-dollar program is 2 points per dollar. It does not reset a higher rate down to 2 points per dollar.
Create a Happy Hour
1Step 1Open Loyalty, then Happy Hours.
2Step 2Select Create a Happy Hour. If you already have some, use the list or calendar, search, or filters to open one.
3Step 3Under Audience, choose customer groups, locations, and channels. Empty groups or locations mean all of them.
4Step 4Under Offer, choose 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, or a custom multiplier. Use 2× for double points. Turn on Provide Separate Multiplier for Wallet only when Wallet payments should use a different multiplier.
5Step 5Under Schedule, choose One time, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. Set the date, or a start date and an optional end date. Choose All day, or set From and To. Weekly lets you pick the days. Daily and weekly can repeat every few days or weeks.
6Step 6Set Active Status. Off saves the Happy Hour without awarding points. On awards the boost when the time, audience, and channel match.
7Step 7Select Save. Use Preview on the editor to see when it will run.
8Step 8Open the Happy Hour later for points issued, total sales, average ticket, transactions, customers, and messages sent.
Time zones
When every location shares one time zone, the editor shows that zone. When locations use more than one time zone, the window runs in each location’s local time.

How do I set up double pointsCreate a Happy Hour and set the offer to 2×. Choose who it applies to and when it runs, turn Active Status on, and save.
Why didn’t this purchase get bonus pointsThe purchase has to already earn points, fall inside the window, and match the groups, locations, and channels you selected. A missing boost is usually outside the window, the wrong location or group, or a channel that was turned off.
What does Online meanOnline is TapMango mobile ordering. Other website or connected-store sales follow In-store.
Do Wallet payments use a different multiplierOnly when Provide Separate Multiplier for Wallet is on. Otherwise Wallet payments use the main multiplier.
Can I set it up before it startsYes. Save with Active Status off, then turn it on when it should earn.
